Wisdom titbits.

On my way to my dinner appointment earlier today, as the taxi driver and I was talking, he said something that I have told people many times but have somewhat forgotten it the past couple of weeks. It was a very simple phrase that probably was God’s (or the universe’s – however you wanna see it) way of telling me to “hey you, stop worrying so much!”

He said:

Good things happen to those with patience.

Now, that doesn’t mean that you can sit back and just chill with patience, in hopes of becoming a millionaire. So let me extend that phrase…

Good things happen to those with patience AND those that have tried and tried again!

My sincere apologies for the lack of blogging the past few weeks. It’s been a really tough time lately and it’s hard putting myself in a happy place sometimes. I’ll be better soon though 🙂

P/s: This isn’t the actual post that the lead-in previously was meant for. That’ll be coming soon. Keep posted!

Be kind to yourself 🙂

Listen.

During this Holy Week, let us learn to listen more and judge less. Fight for someone who don’t have the strength to. Stand up for justice. Ignore prejudices. Be more positive to life. Help the needy. Volunteer. Be the good that humanity needs more of.
Actually, make that every day.

I’m a bully.

Now, we’ve heard, seen, or have been a part of being bullied/ bullying. It’s the inevitable. Even to ourselves, our constant strive for wanting to be the best even when our bodies can’t take it anymore is, to me, bullying. The act of not caring. The act of not loving. The act of not listening.

I’m planning on making a small documentary, though the basic brief is still in a bit of a blur now. It’ll simply be about people who are bullies saying that they are.
But I really REALLY need your thoughts, feedback, etc. And just to clarify, this is no way saying that bullying is alright since it gets the fame.
I’m against bullying but till we don’t admit that we are what we are, we can’t change for the better.

So…yay or nay? Leave your comments below.

Don’t be afraid to jump.

No, not literally jump OFF the cliff or a high-rise building, or basically to kill yourself. No. I’m talking about life and dreams.

I know I’ve had a lot of posts saying we should be happy with what we have. Yes, that’s still true. But should we be complacent and stop fighting for our dreams and visions? No! Heck, no! Being happy with who you are, what you have and how you are are all just part of being humble. And well, if you don’t start now, the more you have is not gonna make you any happier cos you’ll always want more.

That’s us humans, though. I totally understand, but don’t let that be an excuse not to change.

Moral of the story:

Take chances in life. Feel it. Own it. Live it. Be humble. Stay strong. Stay focused. Aim for your dreams. Be proud. Be confident. Breathe. Love. Believe.

Off to dreamland for now. Night night!

Be kind to one another 🙂 x
