Peace and serenity.

For many of you out there, it’s still the last few hours of Sunday. Well, for us on the other side of the world, it’s Monday morning. And this calls for the blues, as we’re all well aware of.

But, listen up. It doesn’t have to be this way. I know I’ve been talking a lot about changing perspectives, but this is a different thing. Meditation. Meditation is a powerful tool that only a few readily possess. Before you start your day with the hustle and bustle of the world, take some time in your own home, somewhere away from gadgets and distraction, and simply calm your body down with deep breathes.
Now, for me, I love standing in front of the window and just feeling the coldness of the morning breeze on my skin as I close my eyes and shut the world out. For that few moments, I’m free and calm. And it makes waking up a little earlier much more worth it.
Take time to enjoy the silence, the scenery, the chirping of birds…it’s times like these that makes you more thankful for the things around you.
