Happiness is…

…when you let go of the bad things and bask in the goodness
…when you know you’re stronger than you think
…when you don’t have to live by anyone’s rules but yours
…when you enjoy the little things
…when you have random moments of laughter and smiles
…when you stop listening to negativity
…when you trust yourself
…when you have pull through the hard times, and still manage to find something to smile about every day
…when you, simply, live.

Why is it so hard for us to smile to strangers on a daily basis?ย

Movember!

Here’s letting all the guys know that November is officially Movember! It’s time to do your part in raising awareness for prostrate and testicular cancer and mental health by growing a moustache (were you expecting something else?) for 30 days. Day 1 started yesterday but it’s never too late! For more information (Singapore based), check out this site:ย http://sg.movember.com/aboutย or if you’re not in Singapore but want to know about this movement, go here:ย http://www.movember.com/

Unfortunately, I can’t grow a moustache but hey, it’s the thought that counts! (And psst: if you look good with one on, it’s points when talking to the ladies…just don’t make that your ulterior motive)

Your opinion: Lateness – Yay or Nay?

Recently read an article from a shared link on Facebook on lateness, and yes, I know where I stand in it – it’s unacceptable if the other party is ALWAYS late and doesn’t even bother to apologize or make an effort to come earlier for following meetings.

In the professional world, it’s damaging to your own self-branding. I’ve met people who were late for their interviews and still had the guts to show egoism to the interviewer. Did they get the job? Of course not. It doesn’t take a dummy to see that coming.

I’ll leave you to the link of the article, here atย http://www.huffingtonpost.com/greg-savage/lateness_b_4169441.html
